Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine have made an extraordinary difference in my life.  When I first saw Pat Nast for acupuncture treatment, my lower back pain and sciatica were so severe I could hardly walk. I was also unable to drive my car and had trouble sleeping. I felt somewhat better after the first acupuncture session with Pat, and that was encouraging. After the fourth treatment, the pain was reduced to a manageable level, and I was able to resume my exercise program and drive again.  By the seventh treatment my spinal and sciatic pain were completely relieved, and then we moved on to working at improving my arthritic knee pain and strengthening my legs.  I expect before long to give up the use of my cane.

I was in 2 car accidents, both resulting in whiplash. I wore a neck brace for months followed by countless trips to the physical therapist. These proved helpful, but only temporarily - my shoulder and neck pain became worse.  My neighbor suggested acupuncture with Pat Nast. Running out of resources and very skeptical, I reluctantly went off to Pat's office. I did not believe that acupuncture could work, but I went out of desperation. Pat sat down with me first to get a complete medical history. She didn't just rush into treating me without knowing my entire history first of all my ailments and symptoms. After a month of treatments, I noticed a significant improvement in my pain. After 3 months of treatment (a total of 6 visits) I was cured of 5 YEARS of constant pain and agony incurred from my injuries from the car accident.
